Description

Participate in the vSecCamp:

  • Set up Zoom on your device (or use the web version). Use Zoom in virtual machine if you have privacy or security concerns!
  • Sign up to our Slack Workspace - a link was sent to you via e-mail.
  • Check your audio and video quality.
  • Join the plenary Zoom channel at 13:00 CEST / 11:00 UTC on Saturday.

To ensure the safety of our participants, we unfortunately have to postpone our event in Cologne to a date later this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We will let you know about a new date as soon as possible.

On Saturday, April 4th, we will instead launch an experimental, fully virtual SecCamp! From 13:00 CEST (UTC+2) to 18:00 CEST (UTC+2) we will hold the vSecCamp via a video conferencing service.

As usual, we will first hear your session proposals, plan the agenda together, and then hold multiple 45-minute sessions in parallel. At the end of the day, we will come back together for the wrap-up.

Please get a new ticket for the virtual event if you are interested to join.

We will contact all ticket holders with technical details a few days before the event.

--------------------

The SecCamp Cologne is an independent Barcamp on all things security. It is aimed at everyone with an interest in application, network, and information security. Topics cover the security of software, hardware, cloud services, networks and industrial controls, security in the daily practice of companies and private users, human factors in security, and current research topics from these areas.

The event format of the Barcamp is an open conference (Unconference or Open Space) with several sessions. The participants actively participate in the Barcamp through workshops, talks, questions, and discussions. The topics will be discussed together and can be proposed in English or German. Note that a promotion of own products or services is not desired though.

Participation is free, but prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited.
